PROJECT: Kid's Bedroom & Playroom

SIZE: 380 sq ft

This bedroom and playroom renovation was designed as a growing sanctuary, evolving with its young owner from childhood into her teenage years. The design process was collaborative, inspired by her routines, passions, and love for creativity and animals. The result is a space that is personal, functional, and timeless.

Soft pastels and delicate blush tones bring warmth and refinement, while the bedroom’s magical canopy bed, ethereal sheers, and fairy lights create a dreamy, princess-like retreat. A custom-built study nook with integrated storage transitions seamlessly from a homework station to a future self-care space, blending practicality with elegance.

The adjoining playroom fosters creativity and connection, featuring two dedicated desk areas, a whimsical central peninsula, cozy seating with built-in storage, and ample cabinetry for organization. Crystal hardware, subtle brass accents, textured wallpapers, and layered textiles add depth and tactile richness, balancing sophistication with playful charm. The result is a harmonious, functional space that grows with its owner while capturing the essence of childhood imagination.
