IDG Showroom Renovation

Nº38

PROJECT: IDG Showroom Renovation Phase 1
LOCATION: Grand Cayman

The initial phase of the IDG Showroom transformation was driven by a singular vision: to elevate the client experience. The reimagined space features a sophisticated new architectural layout, opening the showroom and introducing a sequence of immersive, residential-inspired environments that embody the art of luxurious living.

Key enhancements include striking suspended ceiling features with dramatic dark reveals that amplify spatial height, premium flooring, a refined lighting scheme, and a gallery-style hanging system that elegantly showcases artwork throughout the showroom.

The newly unveiled showroom made its debut during Cayman Art Week 2026 with Spatial Dialogue: A Conversation Between Art & Interior, an exhibition featuring works by Al Ebanks, Janine Every, and Josie Frazer. This collaboration between art and design cultivated a dynamic environment, allowing visitors to experience firsthand how thoughtfully curated interiors evoke emotion, elevate experience, and foster genuine connection.

This inaugural phase lays the groundwork for future enhancements, such as bespoke millwork, architectural shelving, and a dedicated Atelier, where clients will engage with materials, finishes, and furnishings in a truly immersive and collaborative design journey.
