IDG TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.  Furniture Delivery & Installation

A.   Scheduling & Access: Delivery and installation will be scheduled within a mutually agreed time frame. Changes requested within 72 hours of the scheduled date may incur rescheduling fees (to the value of 1% of the item or $500). The Client must ensure clear access to the site and disclose any permits and building requirements, obstructions, e.g. narrow hallways, staircases, elevators, or doorways. Building-specific requirements (e.g., elevator reservations, COIs) must be communicated in advance.  Failure to do so may result in delivery delays and rescheduling fees.

B.    White-Glove Service: Standard delivery includes unpacking, placement, assembly (if applicable), and removal of packaging materials.  It does NOT include the removal of old furniture, or appliances.  If these do need to be moved, then the client must engage with a contractor to remove these items before the scheduled IDG delivery.  If said items are not removed before the scheduled IDG delivery, then further charges may apply.

C.   Inspection Upon Delivery: The Client must inspect items at the time of delivery. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported within 24 hours.

  • Refusal or Return of Delivery Refusing delivery or returning items for reasons other than documented damage or defect may result in:

  • A restocking fee of 20% or more of the item’s retail value

  • Applicable delivery and redelivery charges

  • Items agreed in the purchase order, ordered with the vendor and enroute to IDG are non-refundable.

D.   Installation: Scope of the installation includes assembly and placement per the Client’s direction. It may include electrical, plumbing, structural, or wall-mounting work which must be agreed in writing as part of the scope of work. The Client is responsible for confirming that all surfaces are structurally suitable. Delays due to site conditions (construction delays, unfinished flooring, etc.) may incur additional fees.

E.    Rushed orders: If items are required expeditiously, then fees may be applied to the client due to further charges in (for example) air freight, or faster delivery schedules.  These will be explained in the scope of work.  However, any changes to the scope of work will require a formal change order and may incur additional fees.

2.  Delivery Timelines

  • For in stock / received items, delivery is estimated to occur within 7 to 14 days.  If delivery cannot be completed due to Client-related delays, storage fees may be applied after 90 days.  Storage fees may be applied at a rate of 5% of the item’s retail value per month.

  • This fee structure reflects the per item calculations, and this term is to highlight that is not a storage provider.

3.  Liability

IDG is not liable for damage to property caused by narrow access or fragile site conditions, unless due to gross negligence. Manufacturer warranties apply to furniture.  does not provide additional warranties unless stated in writing.  is not responsible for the actions, workmanship, or outcomes of third-party contractors or consultants, even if recommended by the Company.
